Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and Ampliative, which runs rdir.io: the app at app.rdir.io, this website, docs.rdir.io, the API and MCP server, and the short links we serve on rdir.click and on custom domains. By creating an account or using rdir.io, you accept them. If you use rdir.io for an organization, you accept them on its behalf and confirm that you may.
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
This is a starting point for the terms and is pending legal review.
Your account
- Give accurate details, and keep your password, passkeys, sign-in providers and API tokens safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account and in your teams.
- Tell us at contact@ampliative.ai if you think someone else has used your account.
Your links and content
- The links, destination addresses, domains and other content you add to rdir.io remain yours.
- You let us store, copy, process and display them, and send visitors on to your destinations, only to run rdir.io for you and the people you share your teams with.
- You need the rights to everything you add, and it must not break the law or anyone else’s rights.
Acceptable use
Do not use rdir.io to:
- link to malware, phishing, scams or anything else that harms the people who open the link;
- hide where a link leads in order to deceive people, or impersonate someone;
- send spam, or link to content that breaks the law or anyone else’s rights;
- reach accounts or data that are not yours, or probe rdir.io’s security without our written permission;
- overload or disrupt rdir.io, or get around its limits;
- copy, resell or rebuild rdir.io without our permission.
We may disable a link, a domain or an account that breaks these rules. When people are at risk, we may do it before telling you.
Custom domains
You must own or control every domain you connect. Connecting a domain lets us serve your links on it, including obtaining a TLS certificate for it. If a domain stops pointing to rdir.io, or you lose control of it, its links stop working.
Analytics and your visitors
- rdir.io records data about every click on your links, as described in the privacy policy, and shows it to you and your team.
- You are responsible for telling the people who open your links about this where the law requires it, and for having a legal basis for any data you send us or ask us to forward to another service, such as conversions sent to Meta.
API and MCP server
- Keep your API tokens as safe as your password: anyone who has one can act as you.
- We may limit how often you can call the API, and we may change it. We try to warn you before a change that breaks existing integrations.
Plans and payment
- rdir.io has a free plan and paid plans, with the limits and prices shown on the pricing section of this website.
- Before you pay for a plan, we show you its price and how it is billed. Paid plans renew until you cancel, and if you cancel, your plan stays until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a payment fails, your account falls back to the free plan’s limits. Nothing is deleted, and paying again restores your plan.
- We may change prices. A new price applies from your next billing period, and we tell you before it does.
Other services
When you sign in with Google or GitHub, or connect a Facebook pixel or another service, your use of that service is also governed by its own terms. You are responsible for the keys and tokens you give rdir.io, and for what you ask it to send to those services.
Changes and availability
We keep improving rdir.io and may add, change or remove features. We work to keep rdir.io and your links running, but we cannot promise that they will always be available or free of errors.
Ending
You can stop using rdir.io at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to contact@ampliative.ai. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we tell you why unless the law or the safety of others prevents it.
Disclaimer and liability
rdir.io is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or business. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us for rdir.io in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We publish the new version on this page with its date, and for changes that matter we tell account holders by email before they take effect. If you keep using rdir.io after that, you accept the new terms.
